What IS SF1000A?

The FS1000A Transmitter Receiver 433mHz is a wireless RF module, cheap in price, and easy to use. The modules are for wireless systems and projects. In this module, the transmitter can only transmit data and the receiver can only receive that information. It means you can only send information from points one to two and not from two to one.

FS1000A Transmitter Receiver can transfer or receive data over 3 meters but with proper antenna and power supplies it may reach up to 100 meters theoretically. However, practically one can hardly cover about 30 to 35 meters. This RF module comprises of an RF Transmitter and an RF Receiver. The transmitter/receiver (Tx/Rx) pair operates at a frequency of 433 MHz. An RF transmitter receives serial data and transmits it wirelessly through RF through its antenna connected at pin4.

Working Principle of FS1000A Transmitter Receiver

When a logic HIGH is given to the DATA input, the oscillator produces a constant RF output carrier wave at the frequency of 433.xx MHz. And, when the DATA input is drawn to logic LOW, the oscillator stops. This technique is known as Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK). 433MHz is a commonly used frequency band for all types of equipment that require little power, such as garage door openers, headphones, and remote controls. Also, many inexpensive transmitters and receivers for switching devices and light dimmers operate on the 433MHz band.
