28 Pin IC Base
28 Pin IC Base is for preventing damage to IC’s from soldering while testing multiple circuits. These are made from Black Thermoplastic and tin-plated alloy contacts. One end is notched to aid in identification. They can be mounted end to end to suit longer IC’s sockets.
A 28-pin IC (Integrated Circuit) base is a type of socket or connector that is used to hold and make electrical connections to a 28-pin integrated circuit (IC) chip. IC bases are used in electronic circuits to allow IC chips to be easily installed, removed, and replaced without the need to solder or unsolder the chip to the circuit board.

28-pin IC bases are typically made from an insulating material such as plastic or nylon, and they have a series of metal pins or contacts that correspond to the pins on the IC chip. The IC chip is inserted into the IC base and the pins on the chip make electrical contact with the corresponding pins on the base. This allows the chip to be easily connected to the circuit board and to receive power and signals from the circuit.
IC bases are available in a range of sizes and configurations to match the different types and sizes of IC chips. They are commonly used in a wide variety of electronic devices and systems, including computers, communications equipment, and industrial automation systems.
